Design Guidelines

We want to make sure the platform looks its best. Please follow these recommendations to ensure we utilise the brand assets to the fullest.

Default logo

We use the default logo in the following places unless otherwise specified:

This logo is displayed on the consumer-facing site. If you plan to use the click-off solution, please ensure that the logo is legible against the background you upload, if you are embedding directly into the website, ensure the logo is not white as it'll be on a white background

You may find that the default logo does not display well in the above applications because of the background colour or orientation. For instance, a white logo will not be very visible on a white background or a tall logo will not fit very well in a letterbox-shaped space. If this is the case, we recommend you provide a specific logo that works better in those applications. You can do this in the relevant application's settings.

We recommend using a transparent PNG and cropping the logo to a maximum width of 640 pixels. It doesn't matter what the height of the logo is, as that will be dictated by the dimensions of the logo. When cropping, make sure that you don’t include surrounding whitespace that is not part of the logo. Please make sure that the logo is good enough quality so that it looks professional when seen by customers.

Background image

The background image is used for our click-off solutions such as online checkouts and online waivers. When viewed on a desktop computer, the image you upload will stretch to fill the window, so it’s best to use an image that is the same aspect ratio as a desktop screen. The best size to use is 1920 x 1080 pixels.

Colours

Colours are used in some applications to add visual interest and strengthen the brand so that Roller applications match the rest of the business.

You can apply two colours to Roller products, a primary and a secondary colour. The primary colour is used mainly for headings and accents while the secondary colour is reserved for links, buttons and other interactive elements. If you wish to use only a single colour, simply enter the same value in both inputs.

Colours must be entered as HEX values. Usually, the business's marketing team will have the HEX values of the brand colours.

The following applications will use the colours set in the design settings unless otherwise specified:
  • Email templates
  • Waiver kiosk

Visit the relevant application pages in the Venue Manager to choose specific application colours.
